NetBSD Notes for the FreeBSD Convert

I have been a FreeBSD desktop user since late 1999. Recently I decided to attempt to switch to NetBSD. Although, ultimately I decided to stay with FreeBSD. The major reason was the lack of support my nvidia GeForce 8600 GS, which only worked with the vesa driver in NetBSD and would not allow me to run my dual monitor setup. Also, my failure to get Xen to run after three days of trying. I will say that NetBSD in general seemed more responsive. What follows are some notes on differences that may help someone else in their attempts to switch from FreeBSD to NetBSD.
